During the weeks before my departure, I visited few of the many restaurants in Belize City. I am a person who likes to try most things at least once. So in this video, there are places I already visited and places I visited for the first time. Enjoy and don't get too hungry. - Coral Bubbles( downtown location) - As seen in my previous video. this place has the best BOBA milk tea in Belize City, and they recently opened a downtown location, which is great because I don;t have to go far. - Midtown restaurant and Bar - this place just opened recently so I and my friend decided to try it out to see if it was any good. I wanted to honor the request of some of the viewers to make a video completely in Creole/Kriol. I decided to do Fry Jacks or Fry Cakes, but the 1/2 recipe because this meal is the reason why I started the show. Fry Jacks can be eaten with any meal, but primarily it is a breakfast dish. Normally we have eggs with Dutch Cheese, Avocado (pears) and re-fried beans for an old school Belizean breakfast.

Belizean Panades When that Belizean food craving hits...panades is just the thing to make. Here's a delicious and easy recipe for homemade panades. Boil Up is the second staple food of Belize. This dish is a compilation of healthy and non healthy starches. Every item in this menu is boiled, from the ground foods, to the meats (pigtails & fish) to the eggs, to the cakes. This meal is usually topped with coconut oil and a sauteed onion and tomato sauce. This meal can be eaten in its full form or scaled down to match any budget.

In this video I do a remake of Fry Jacks or Fry Cakes to include more instructions and keeping everything uniformed with our theme. Fry Jacks are a simple fried bread that can be the difference between going to be hungry of being satisfied during times of recession or famine. I can be eaten with jams and jellies, peanut butter, confectioner/powdered sugar or meats and cheeses or alone. This is a very versatile meal.
